The Spirits Workshop operates a boutique, small batch, craft distillery in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Locally sourced Canterbury malted grain and pure Canterbury artesian water forms the backbone of our spirits.
It is what makes up the essence of our craft, embodying the “Grain to Glass” ethos across our range of products which includes Gin, Vodka and Single Malt Whisky.
Through our copper pot still, a double distillation turns the fermented Canterbury malted barley into a fine spirit with an alcohol content around 65%. This spirit can be barrelled for aging, to eventually become Whisky or further refined, through our copper column still, to make the base for other spirits such as Gin and Vodka.
