Everyone else is doing it so now we are too! Ruby is a refreshing Pink Gin. Fresh Rhubarb, Curious Dry and a little added sweetness makes a delicious sweet zesty Gin. Best enjoyed with plenty of ice, tonic and friends!
The Spirits Workshop is very happy to announce we have relaunched our Curiosity Gin in beautifully designed 700ml bottles with a whole new look and feel!
The same fabulous gins but now in an equally fabulous package 🙂
The new bottles are a amazing bargain, delivering 40% more gin for a less than 10% increase in price!!
Available now from our website store and from liquor stores around New Zealand.
Thanks to everyone who came by our stand at the Auckland Food Show. We enjoyed introducing you all to our fabulous Curiosity Gin and hope to see you again next year when we hope to be able to introduce you to our fantastic NZ Single Malt Whisky!
Hurrah!! Our ever-popular Pinot Barrel Sloe is back in stock for all customers 😀
The new batch is fruity and delicious as always. A great Winter Warmer for those chilly days and evenings we are experiencing.
Hey everyone, sorry but our ever-popular Pinot Barrel Sloe is just gone out of stock for online orders☹️
Never fear though, there is a new batch in the barrel, only about a month away from being ready. We also have new Sloes on the way from the UK, which should arrive any day now, so more will be going down soon!!
You can of course back-order on the website and there are a couple of bottles still available at the distillery shop if you are visiting!
Sorry again! Growing pains!!
I was on the radio today! On the National Program – Nine to noon show, talking about the New Zealand Gin-naissance and how we make our Curiosity Gins.
Click on the link below to listen if you missed it, hopefully you will find it interesting!!
Our Pinot Barrel Sloe is a strictly limited single batch. Made the traditional way, we brought from the UK the finest Sloe Berries available and steeped them in Curiosity Gin for several months in a barrel that was previously used to age Otago Pinot Noir. Sweetened with natural sugar before bottling, the resulting liqueur is a luscious red colour and exhibits the smooth and slightly bitter, intense sweet fruit flavours of a classic Sloe Gin with an added back note of the fruity Otago Pinot from the barrel in which it was made. his is New Zealand’s first and only Sloe Gin (as far as we know anyway!) and only 274 bottles were available from this one and only barrel.
Serving Suggestions: Fabulous in a long drink with Tonic, as a Sloe Gin Fizz or with Champagne as a Sloe Gin Royale it’s the perfect drink for a Kiwi summer
